Brush & Botany Walk

Wandering from nature into the world of ink art

Have you ever imagined experiencing the beauty of CU campus, starting from Chung Chi College, and strolling to the Art Museum to explore flower-and-bird paintings from the Ming and Qing dynasties...?

In collaboration with the Shiu-Ying Hu Herbarium, the Art Museum presents a special “Brush & Botany Walk”. Join experts as they guide you through the plum, peach, and apricot trees on campus, bridging nature and ink art. Plus listen to the fascinating stories behind the artworks from our flower-and-bird painting researcher.
